Thalya Brooke Dwyer joins OHLEsport Ambassadors

Denver, CO - March 14, 2018 /MarketersMedia/ —

Chairman of the Board of OHLEsport Des Hague and President Justin J. Rose have announced their latest ambassador for youth outreach, Thalya Brooke, who is a Colorado native known for leading many of her soccer teams to national championships over the years. Denver-based OHLEsport (www.ohlesport.com) is the creator of The OHLEkick, OHLEpro and OHLEsport Total Training System. The goal of the OHLEsport Ambassador Program is to form strategic partnerships with national and international athletes to network across borders, promote the sport of soccer, and teach important soccer as well as life skills, that working with The OHLEsport Training System brings to its users. In addition, OHLEsport Ambassadors play a key role in OHLEsport community outreach, where a percentage of each purchase supports the OHLEsport Kids’ Future Fund; this fund serves to strengthen at-risk and underserved youths to find ways to a brighter future.

“"OHLEsport is committed to advancing the individual skills of all and at the same time doing good for the communities we serve,” stated Hague. “We are delighted to have Thalya join our Ambassador program and help us achieve both these objectives," concluded Hague.

“I am thrilled to be a part of the OHLEsport Ambassador program. The OHLE team is passionate not only about their products but about the development of soccer players and supporting kids in need. I am very excited to be a part of this journey,” said Dwyer.

Some of the highlights of Dwyer’s soccer career include Otero College’s team captain and starter of women’s soccer team, leading goal scorer and Player of the Year. She also played for 8 years with the REAL National Soccer Club in Denver, Colorado, and was starting midfielder and forward with ECNL (Elite Clubs National League). With her team, Dwyer took part in regionals, nationals and won State. In addition, she played and trained with 5 current women’s US National Team players and was coached by nationally-recognized coaches Lorne Donaldson Rafael Amaya, Chris Martinez and Rivers Guthrie.

After completing the German Soccer Experience, an international soccer training program put on by Rose’s JJR Consulting (www.JJRconsulting.net), Dwyer, a 21-year-old American (Colorado)/Australian, recently signed with German professional soccer women’s team Eintracht Frankfurt for 2017/18 season.

“It has been a real privilege the last few months helping Thalya achieve her dream of playing professional soccer in Germany,” said Rose. “The commitment and passion she has for improving herself as a person on and off the field is wonderful to see and be a part of. Having her as an OHLEsport Ambassador is a real honor for our team and will continue to inspire many to be the best they can be too. Eintracht Frankfurt Women’s team is so lucky to have Thalya,” concluded Rose.

“Thalya is a great choice for an OHLEsport ambassador,” said OHLEsport founder, Robert Ohle, and continued, “she has always shown a high level of professionalism with her great leadership skills. Her work ethics and a can-do attitude explains a lot about her success. OHLEsport is proud to welcome her aboard.”

Juventus beats Valencia 1-0 to progress to round of 16

Dec 10, 2018

TURIN, Italy — Cristiano Ronaldo set up Mario Mandzukic for the winning goal as Juventus secured a spot in Champions League knockout stage with a 1-0 win over Valencia on Tuesday. Ronaldo got away from his marker with some quick footwork before rolling the ball across for Mario Mandzukic to tap into the net in the 59th minute. The 33-year-old Ronaldo has been involved in 44 percent of Juve's goals this season, having scored 10 and assisted six others. And Mandzukic is clearly reaping the benefits. The Croatia international scored five goals in 32 league matches last season and already...

Ireland change 14 for test against US Eagles

Dec 10, 2018

DUBLIN — Only center Garry Ringrose has kept his run-on jersey in the Ireland side meeting the United States in a rugby international on Saturday at Lansdowne Road. Ringrose was the only repeat starter from the 16-9 win over New Zealand last weekend, while prop Cian Healy and flanker Josh van Der Flier were in the reserves. Lock Iain Henderson, flanker Jordi Murphy, and flyhalf Joey Carbery were replacements against the All Blacks and promoted to starters on Thursday, while reserve scrumhalf Luke McGrath was retained. Flanker Rhys Ruddock captains the second-string side which more closely resembles the one which...

Ireland topple All Blacks 16-9 at home for first time

Dec 10, 2018

DUBLIN — Ireland beat the All Blacks 16-9 at home for the first time on Saturday and laid a major marker for the Rugby World Cup next year. The blockbuster matchup of No. 1 and No. 2, the champions of each hemisphere, lived up to the hype. Ireland edged a rugged first half, and in a more open second half produced a classic try and kept New Zealand tryless for the first time since last year's Lions tour. At a highly charged Lansdowne Road, Ireland became the only team to beat New Zealand twice since the All Blacks won a...

Dec 10, 2018

MILAN — Cristiano Ronaldo ended his San Siro hoodoo to help Juventus to a 2-0 win after AC Milan forward Gonzalo Higuain missed a penalty against his former team on Sunday. Higuain left Juventus in the offseason following the signing of Ronaldo and he had a nightmare game as he was also sent off seven minutes from time for dissent after being booked for a foul on Medhi Benatia. Mario Mandzukic scored early on and Ronaldo sealed the result nine minutes from the end as Serie A leader Juventus won at Milan to restore its six-point advantage over second-placed Napoli,...

Napoli fights back to beat Genoa 2-1 and stay close to Juve

Dec 10, 2018

MILAN — In a match which had to be suspended for nearly 15 minutes because of rain, Napoli almost saw its Serie A title hopes given a dousing, too. Napoli fought back from a goal down and needed a late own goal to win at Genoa 2-1 on Saturday and keep within sight of leader Juventus. Carlo Ancelotti's side cut the gap to three points to Juventus, which visits AC Milan on Sunday. Inter Milan can move back level on points with a win at Atalanta, also on Sunday. "Proud of my players who pushed through less than desirable conditions...
