Amazing, a company known for its Amazon business advice and training, has recently released a new video featuring Amazon selling expert Rich Henderson. The video, titled Amazon FBA: How to Find Suppliers Abroad (Step-by-Step), guides viewers through the ins and outs of Alibaba — a multi-functional website that gives Amazon businesses options for sourcing new products from overseas.

As a company, Amazing has released several popular training videos as part of its YouTube series campaign. These videos feature experienced eCommerce experts, brought together for discussions, speeches, and instruction. The insights given by the variety of professionals at Amazing have been lauded by business owners all over Amazon.

Talking about its newest video, a spokesperson for the company says, “We are really excited about adding this new video with our very own, expert Rich Henderson. He is literally running the field when it comes to sourcing things overseas for Amazon, and we think that our viewers will be excited to hear what he has to say. I know that I have benefited from his insights immensely.”

The video itself revolves around the use of the website, Alibaba.com: an essential for any Amazon business wanting to grow the range of products that it offers on the expansive marketplace. Alibaba allows businesses to communicate with trading companies, many of which represent Chinese and other overseas manufacturers.

Building relationships with these companies is important when trying to expand the business, says Henderson. Having an account on Alibaba allows users not only to see the different products that trading companies offer, but also to contact the operators of those companies directly.

Henderson believes that always communicating directly with factories is unnecessary, and trading companies allow for flexibility in communications. For him, communications are the most important part of building a long-term relationship with overseas suppliers.

“Take it slow,” Henderson advises, “especially when starting out. Making contact with multiple suppliers and learning how to ask for different quotes and figures allows sellers to expand their product range to sell on Amazon successfully.”

Alibaba.com offers reviews of trading companies and shows how long the companies have been operating, certifications they have received, and even reviews from other private label sellers. This information gives potential partners insight into what kind of record the trading companies have.

“One of the main blocks stopping Amazon businesses from expanding their product lines using overseas manufacturers is the unwillingness to go overseas and develop in-person relationships,” Henderson adds.

Those interested in Alibaba.com it can visit its official website or view the video at Amazing’s YouTube channel.
