Artist Felix Kay Releases New Single 'Stars'

Los Angeles, California Mar 20, 2022 (Issuewire.com) - Musical Artist and Producer Felix Kay released their new single, 'Stars', the sixth single from the artist, coming off the success of their popular synthwave track 'NightRunner'.

"The song was inspired by a mixture of people. Start with The Weeknd, a fellow Canadian artist whose music speaks to me on multiple levels. Add Daft Punk, a group I have followed since the start of their careers. Then top it off with Labrinth, a musician who creates music in his unique way, and there you have it. My inspiration for 'Stars' was born." said Felix Kay. He went on to say,

"I created an upbeat energetic catchy synthpop beat, with a depressing emotional vocal. It's not popular to have the vocals be in a different key than the track. It can make the vocal sound out of tune. Some will love it, while others will hate it. But I don't start producing a track thinking it must be a commercial success.  As long as someone somewhere is enjoying my music, I'm happy. At the end of the day, music is subjective, this is something we already know."
