A new documentary sheds light on ACR’s latest poker tournament, revealing real strategies from one of the players.
San Jose, Costa Rica, October 16, 2026 -- Americas Cardroom has released a new poker documentary about ACR Poker Pro Chance Kornuth’s run in the $50,000 Pot-Limit Omaha High Roller at the 2026 World Series of Poker in Las Vegas. It features high-stakes hands, candid strategy discussions and tournament footage.

WSOP Event #55 drew 110 entries and generated a $5.225 million prize pool, with $1,368,700 for first place. Daniel Negreanu and Martin Kabrhel were among the players in the field.
Kornuth describes being reduced to 1,000 chips on Day 1 before recovering to more than 900,000 at one point. He discusses two entries, reviews bet sizing in a difficult hand and reflects on how he might have played it differently.
The documentary also explores late registration, multiple re-entries and their effect on recreational players. Kornuth and others debate limits on first entries while preserving re-entry opportunities for players already in the tournament.
A four-time WSOP bracelet winner, Kornuth joined the ACR Poker Pro team in May 2026 and reached two Dual Mystery Bounty Venom final tables in September, finishing sixth in PLO and seventh in No-Limit Hold’em.
Kornuth earned $508,090 for winning the 2010 $5,000 WSOP PLO event, his first bracelet. He was runner-up in a $50,000 WSOP No-Limit Hold’em High Roller in 2024 for $1,351,000.
The documentary also features table banter, different blind-level lengths on Days 1 and 2, short-stack decisions as the 17 paid positions approach, and a discussion of ACR Poker’s Discord community, where players can review hands and interact with pros. These scenes put Kornuth’s strategy insights in a broader poker context.
The documentary is available on ACR Poker’s YouTube channel.
