Electronic Imaging Materials, Inc. introduces FloorCode™ Impact, expanding its range of protective floor label solutions.
Keene, NH (PRUnderground) November 4th, 2026

Electronic Imaging Materials, Inc. (EIM) introduces FloorCode™ Impact, expanding its range of FloorCode™ protective floor label solutions to fill a unique niche and provide customers with another application-specific option for safeguarding labels in demanding, high-traffic warehouses and facilities.
"The introduction of FloorCode Impact highlights how the team at EIM vigilantly evaluates our product offering and searches for opportunities to serve our customers better," says Cecilia Robinson, Senior Products and Innovation Specialist.
FloorCode™ Impact is engineered to safeguard critical labels in fast-moving warehouses and facilities with heavy forklift, pallet, and cart traffic. The aluminum floor label holder protects barcode labels--resisting scuffing, scraping, and surface abrasion--ultimately keeping them readable and scannable. Securely adhered to the floor and featuring gently sloped edges, it offers long-lasting protection from forklifts and pallet jacks.
FloorCode™ Impact delivers the protection of drilled label frames without the permanence. FloorCode™ Impact uses a high-strength industrial adhesive to ensure secure attachment to sealed concrete, epoxy, and polished surfaces without damaging floors. Because of its drill-free installation, FloorCode™ Impact is an ideal solution for leased facilities and warehouses that are prohibited from drilling into their floors, as well as operations with shifting workflows.
Another benefit of FloorCode™ Impact is its ability to securely adhere in cold storage, freezers, and moisture-heavy environments, making it an optimal choice for applications like food and beverage, pharmaceutical, and agricultural storage warehouses.
"Damaged labels can result in costly confusion, interruptions, and delays to busy warehouses. FloorCode Impact not only protects but also safeguards operational efficiency and returns on our customers' investment in them," says Erin Temmen, Sales Manager. "More so, because they don't require predrilling or screwing multiple holes per holder, they're quick, easy, and cost-effective to incorporate."
Not every warehouse faces the same challenges. FloorCode™ Impact joins FloorCode™ Streamline, allowing EIM to give customers label options tailored to their specific environment.
FloorCode™ Streamline uses a rugged polycarbonate shield placed over labels--rather than a robust aluminum frame--to deliver durable, easy-to-install protection for barcode labels. It features an ultra-low-profile design that resists snagging from pallets and reduces tripping hazards for personnel.
The protective method provided by FloorCode™ Streamline differs from that of FloorCode™ Impact, but the goal is the same: ensuring labels are legible and operations are efficient. It works in a wide range of temperatures and is easy to remove, providing adaptability to changing stock and workflows.
"FloorCode Impact is proof that even something as simple as a label holder can be reengineered for real performance gains. Using our expertise with adhesives and understanding of how modern warehouses operate, we're able to grow our product offering to deliver customers highly targeted, application-specific label solutions," says Robinson.
FloorCode™ Impact not only joins the FloorCode™ family of protective label solutions, but also becomes part of EIM's ecosystem of offerings for today's warehouses. In addition to protective shields and holders, EIM supplies warehouses with both pre-printed and blank labels, hardware like scanners and printers, software such as BarTender®, and customer-first support.
Electronic Imaging Materials creates custom, high-performance labeling solutions designed to face the toughest real-world challenges across industries, including healthcare, manufacturing, warehousing, and laboratory environments. Since 1987, EIM has built its reputation by pairing deep technical expertise with personal, responsive customer support. The Label Experts at EIM continue to earn the trust of customers across the globe by delivering labels they can count on.
