Metaverse poet reflects on the rise of a digital fashion house in 'Fashionably Early'
Colors the artist inspired by the opening of The Fabricant and its investors Ashton Kutcher and Guy Oseary
New York City, New York Aug 6, 2022 (Issuewire.com) - To mark the launch of a decentralized all-digital fashion house, The Fabricant, Metaverse poet Colors the artist penned a poem entitled 'Fashionably Early' to honor the project and its early investors Ashton Kutcher and Guy Oseary.
Colors the artist is the first verified poet on the Coinbase NFT Marketplace and is known for creating original poetry that honors members of the web3 community while telling their stories.
In 'Fashionably Early,' Colors reflects on digital fashion house, The Fabricant, a cutting-edge online store that allows anyone to create digital-only clothing for Metaverse users. Clothing creations can then be sold as NFTs, with The Fabricant keeping a percentage of each sale, Women's Wear Daily reported.
The Fabricant's early investors include actor Ashton Kutcher and media mogul Guy Oseary. The two often team up under their Sound Ventures partnership to invest in early-stage tech companies that have included Spotify, Airbnb, Pinterest, and Robinhood. In total, The Fabricant has raised $14 million in funding since 2018, California Apparel News reported.
Colors the artist, inspired by the visionary idea for a digital only fashion house and its potential in the Metaverse, penned the poem to reflect the unique journey of The Fabricant and its forward-thinking backers.
In 'Fashionably Early' Colors writes:
"The future
Doesn't
Await
Or wait
To be late
To
The
Fabricant Party.
Please
RSVP
Today."
Beyond the creation of The Fabricant, Colors reflects on the current state of the web3 community and its future.
Previous poems by Colors have been inspired by web3 projects including Bill Murray 1000, Bored Ape Yacht Club NFT Collection, Women & Weapons NFT Collection, and Deadfellaz NFT Collection.
Colors the artist tells the stories of the web3 community through original poetry and art.
