New SEO Agency Launches Vowing to End Bad Communication In the Industry

Feb 2, 2024

Hatch + Vox believes that speaking in plain English and conducting regular client meetings will enable it to deliver superior services that focus on solutions.

London, England, United Kingdom - February 2, 2024

The perennial challenges of communicating with outsourced SEO teams could be coming to an end. New marketing agency Hatch + Vox says it has a formula that enables it to communicate effectively with clients while delivering incredible results.

Hatch + Vox believes it can achieve this feat by turning the industry paradigm upside down. Instead of making productised search engine optimisation the core of its offering, it prioritises dialogue. Clients get video reports written in simple English, regular meetings to stay apprised of developments, and committed account managers waiting to take their calls.

“Even before we set up Hatch + Vox, we saw that communication was a bottleneck in the SEO industry,” company founder Joshua Allerton explains. “Ninety-nine per cent of the time, the SEO wasn’t the issue; it was how people communicated around it. Clients don’t always know how you are helping them, and that’s what we’re changing with this new approach.”

Hatch + Vox began demonstrating its new communication-centric model through SEO audits, exercises that determine the elements of a brand’s website that require improvement to get close to the number one spot on Google for target keywords. According to its clients, the firm’s services are already having an impact.

“Everything was so well explained,” reported one of the brand’s customers at the start of the project, “and it was obvious that [Hatch + Vox] had done research into the business as well as consumer trends when analysing the reports.”

Unlike many SEO firms, Hatch + Vox charges for their audits. It understands that this move might be unpopular among some clients used to this service being free. However, they point to a good reason for this.

“Many agencies offer free audits to build trust and sign you on a monthly retainer. And there’s nothing wrong with wanting to build your trust,” says Joshua Allerton. “But free (or even cheap) audits are weak. They’re auto-generated and highlight a tiny percentage of what’s going on with your website. “

By contrast, human SEO audits build a deeper understanding of SEO and give businesses genuine direction.

Beyond SEO audits and monthly retainers, the firm also has plans to launch a DIY tool. This feature aimed at clients on tighter budgets would let them discover more about their SEO performance daily, backed up with monthly consultancy support from Hatch + Vox.

“We understand that full-blown SEO audits are out of reach for some companies. So, we are working to lower costs with lightweight solutions for firms that just want to build revenue before investing heavily in bespoke solutions.”
