Samantha Rae announces her 2026 Boston Music Award nomination for Country Artist of the Year, following her 2025 win, alongside additional award nominations and an upcoming album release in 2027.
Boston, MA, October 21, 2026 -- Presented by Gunner Harvey Music Group
Award-winning New England country artist Samantha Rae has once again been recognized by the Boston music community, earning a nomination for Country Artist of the Year at the 2026 Boston Music Awards. The annual awards celebration will take place at Big Night Live at TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts, on December 16, 2026, bringing together many of the region's most accomplished artists and music industry professionals.

The nomination continues an impressive run for Samantha Rae, who captured the 2025 Boston Music Award for Country Artist of the Year during her very first year as a nominee.
Adding to an already remarkable year, Samantha earned a nomination for Country Act of the Year at the New England Music Awards and recently received four nominations at the prestigious Josie Independent Music Awards, held annually at the legendary Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, Tennessee.
Currently, Samantha is putting the finishing touches on her highly anticipated second full-length album, Unconditionally with Conditions, slated for release in early 2027. Following her acclaimed debut album, The High Road, the new project was once again co-written, co-produced, and recorded in her home studio alongside longtime creative partner Jay DellIsola.
The pair's artistic and production journey has taken them well beyond New England. Over the years, Samantha and Jay have expanded their production expertise through creative visits and studio sessions at the world-renowned Abbey Road Studios in London. Most recently, they traveled to West Saugerties, New York, where they spent a week writing new material and recording remotely while immersed in the creative atmosphere of Big Pink, the modest home made famous by Bob Dylan and The Band. The property's legendary basement served as the recording site for Dylan's influential Basement Tapes sessions and helped inspire the roots-rock sound that emerged on Music From Big Pink, an album widely credited with helping shape the musical style now known as Americana.

Samantha's momentum on stage has matched her success in the studio. She recently opened a sold-out show for country superstar Cole Swindell at the Premier Theater at Foxwoods Resort Casino in Mashantucket, Connecticut, further demonstrating her growing appeal to country music audiences throughout the Northeast and beyond.
As her profile continues to rise through major award recognition, high-profile live performances, and an expanding catalog of original music, Samantha Rae remains one of New England's most recognized independent country artists, building a career rooted in authenticity, storytelling, and artistic independence.
