WEP Mechanical Receives Diamond Award for Best HVAC Services in Cambridge

Cambridge, Ontario Oct 22, 2026 (Issuewire.com) - WEP Mechanical, a division of Waterloo Energy Products Inc., has received the Diamond Award for Best HVAC Services in the 2026 Cambridge Readers' Choice Awards.

The recognition provides an opportunity for the company to thank Cambridge customers and community members for their support. It also brings attention to the company's work in heating, cooling, renewable energy and mechanical services for residential, commercial and industrial properties.

Operating from nearby Maryhill, WEP Mechanical serves Cambridge and communities across Waterloo Region, providing mechanical design-build, installation, maintenance and emergency services.

Supporting Cambridge with HVAC and Renewable Energy Services

WEP Mechanical works with homeowners, builders, property managers and commercial customers on heating and cooling projects involving a range of building requirements.

Its specialties include geothermal heating and cooling, air-source heat pumps, high-efficiency boilers, in-floor heating, ductwork, ventilation and mechanical system design.

The company also provides energy modelling, monitoring and feasibility studies to help customers evaluate mechanical system options.

Geothermal and heat pump technologies are important parts of WEP Mechanical's renewable energy work. Depending on the property and project requirements, these systems can offer energy-efficient alternatives for heating and cooling.

The company's design-build approach brings mechanical planning and installation together, allowing it to coordinate equipment choices and project requirements with architects, engineers, general contractors and property owners.

Projects range from residential renovations and new homes to commercial and industrial construction and specialized retrofits.

The Sustainable Living Centre in Maryhill

A distinctive part of WEP Mechanical's operations is its headquarters, known as the Sustainable Living Centre, located in Maryhill, Ontario.

The facility includes a public showroom where visitors can see examples of energy-efficient heating, cooling and building technologies.

Equipment and systems featured at the centre include heat pumps, geothermal technology, high-efficiency boilers, in-floor heating, heat recovery and energy recovery ventilation, and energy monitoring systems.

The Sustainable Living Centre provides a practical setting for demonstrating technologies that may otherwise be unfamiliar to homeowners and building owners.

It also reflects the company's broader work in mechanical design and renewable energy systems, where equipment selection and building requirements are considered together.

Appreciation for Cambridge Customers

The Readers' Choice Awards recognize local businesses and service providers across a variety of categories.

For WEP Mechanical, receiving Diamond recognition in Best HVAC Services is an opportunity to acknowledge the support of customers in Cambridge and the surrounding area.

Jason Grieb, RSE, Partner at WEP Mechanical, expressed appreciation for the award.

"We're grateful to the Cambridge community for this recognition. Our work takes us into homes, businesses and construction projects throughout the region, and we value the trust customers place in our team. We appreciate everyone who has supported WEP Mechanical and helped make this recognition possible," said Grieb.

The company also acknowledges the technicians, tradespeople and project staff involved in its installation, maintenance and service work.

Maintenance, Emergency Service and Continued Operations

In addition to new installations and design-build projects, WEP Mechanical provides maintenance programs, equipment monitoring and 24-hour emergency service for residential, commercial and industrial customers.

The company serves a broad Southern Ontario territory extending from the Greater Toronto Area west to Kitchener-Waterloo and north toward Collingwood.

WEP Mechanical has also introduced a refreshed logo and visual identity. According to its customer announcement, the update does not change its team, products, services, pricing or customer support.

The company continues operating under its updated WEP Mechanical identity while maintaining its established service relationships.

Looking Ahead

The Cambridge Readers' Choice Diamond Award provides an opportunity for WEP Mechanical to recognize local support while continuing its work in HVAC, geothermal and energy-efficient mechanical systems.

The company remains focused on providing design-build, installation, maintenance and service solutions for customers throughout Cambridge and the surrounding region.
